The R-LOG remote data logger is a general
purpose GSM/GPRS RTU Data Logger which contains a massive data
logger. Supervising and managing your systems has never been
easier. No matter where you are in the world, logged data can be
sent straight to your email or cellphone to provide you with
crucial information instantly.
Logged data can be sent directly to POP3 servers, enabling
virtually infinite data capacity and making it more accessible,
manageable and meaningful.
General
The R-LOG can directly communicate with an
SMTP server to send some or all of its logged data to predefined
email boxes. In addition, it provides 24/7 global communication
coverage for automatic SMS alert messages, SMS I/O inquiries and
SMS I/O settings. Versatile, reliable and quickly configured,
the R-LOG is a cost-effective DIN rail mountable RTU Logger,
featuring up to 6 A/I, 8 D/I, 2 D/O, 1 EIA RS232 serial port and
automatic email dispatch service. It can be operated by RTU or
through the Web.
The R-TEC
The R-TEC is all-in-one, easy-to-use configuration software.
It provides a user-friendly environment for RTU configuration
and logged data manipulation. With an impressive graphical
interface, the R-TEC includes RTU configuration tools, Mail
Retrieval Agent (MRA), data parser and online calibration tools.
It supports both local and remote download for easy PC-RTU data
transformation. The powerful remote download mechanism
simplifies the downloading process, and can carry out multiple
unit download processes in one GSM session. The smart
calibration tool can establish data communication with the R-LOG
to display the current values and to help you in carrying out
your desired calibration. All this is done in a user-friendly
environment that allows you to present the data in whatever way
you desire.
Communication
The R-LOG utilizes a GSM/GPRS network to transmit and receive
data, providing highly effective communication results, thus
saving time and money. There is no need to get expensive
antennas, frequency licensing or power-consuming radio
transmitters, deal with transmission interruptions, or worry
about distance limitations.
External Device
The R-LOG can be used as a standalone unit or can be
connected to a PLC. When connected to a PLC, the R- LOG controls
the PLC I/Os and registers. It serves as a cellular gateway for
establishing mobile communication between you and your PLC,
delivering a complete, interactive, mobile communication and
email log service. Adjustable, reliable and easy-to-use, the
R-LOG is a versatile PLC-interfaced communication tool,
supporting Modbus, Unitronics, Hostlink and many other serial
communication protocols.
Settings
The R-LOG remote data logger provides both automatic and
user-interference services. Using the R-TE, you are free to
configure the automatic behavior of the R-LOG to meet your needs.
The R-LOG built-in user-interference system makes it possible to
set/get registers and I/O values from the comfort of your mobile
phone. You can simply send an SMS message to turn the
digital-output on/off, receive I/O values, set the time and
date, set/get register values and more. The system allows you to
compare previous and current data. The information can be
received by SMS messages or online through a Web server.
